Welcome to week 5 of your pregnancy. Feeling like everything is extra tiring and extremely exhausting? Well, your body is doing a lot more than what it’s ever been used to. Growing a baby isn’t easy ladies, so it’s fine to take a step back and put your feet up this week.

It may seem strange to the outside world that you are growing a little human inside of you but it’s truly amazing at how fast things are developing in there. Your baby is starting to look like a tadpole this week. The spinal cord is beginning to form and the neural tube starting to close. Soon your baby will start growing a thin layer of skin to protect them.

Recipe of the Week
Blueberry Mojito Mocktail

- 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 2 tsp of sugar
- Lime juice
- Soda
- Crushed ice
Cooking Instructions
- Have your blender at the ready to blend them blueberries.
- In a cocktail shaker, pop the mint leaves and sugar inside.Add the lime juice and pureed blueberries also. Shake it!
- Pour the mixture into a glass of your choice, fill the glass with crushed ice. Top up with soda and gently stir,garnish with lime wedge, blueberries and mint sprig!
