Your Body at Week 9

Have you noticed any metallic taste in your mouth for a few weeks now? This is another common pregnancy symptom. It is caused by the level of oestrogen you are producing. This funny taste could be causing you’re your morning sickness to be worse than what it is. Try drinking citrus juices or eating colder items such as ice pops.

Your Baby Week 9

Your baby’s kidneys, liver, brain and lungs have all began to function. Their fingers and toes have all started to lose their webbing and their eyes are moving from the side of their head to the front, making them look more humanlike.

Smashed Avocado and Tomato On Toast

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 5 cherry tomatoes sliced
  • Any toast of your choice

Cooking Instructions

  1. Scoop the avocado into a bowl and remove the stone
  2. Smash the avocado in the bowl using a fork and squeeze lemon juice to taste
  3. Scoop the avocado onto the toast and top with tomatoes.
  4. For an extra finish, drizzle some balsamic vinegar over the top of the avocado on toast.

  2. Seek out the closest swimming pool to you.
  3. Let your partner that you are feeling very sensitive and irritable this week. At the end of the day you two are a team and him knowing where you are mentally is super important for both of your wellbeing.
